Total Man Conference (TMC) |

The first edition of TMC was held on the campus of the University of Lagos on the 13th of Feb, 2004. This programme was birthed out of the desire to satisfy an obvious yearning in the hearts of the students of the University of Lagos to hear from those ahead of them- the realities of the outside world as it affects every area of their lives hence the name ‘TOTAL MAN CONFERENCE’. This conference has featured speakers such as:
Mr. Sam Aluko, Wale Akinyemi, Mr. Lanre Kupoluyi, Mr. Emmanuel Utomi, Mr. Femi Banigbe and Mr. Fela Durotoye.

The theme for this edition is ‘what’s behind it?’ This theme was derived after a group study of the book of Proverbs. There is one recurrent word in proverbs- ‘wisdom’. True wisdom is God-birthed and God- sourced.
The pressures and influences exerted by fellow students have the effect of gradually changing our value systems by placing higher value on affluence, display of wealth. The truth is that if all this has no depth and no God-backing, it will fade as quickly as it came.
